Cross Country in South Carolina
With three horses and one groom, Jane Sleeper travels from Coatesville, Pennsylvania to Aiken, South Carolina to compete in Horse Trials at the Jumping Branch Farm, where she meets up with a student who has travelled from Clemson to compete with her own horse. It rains heavily for the entire competition - but the sandy soil in Aiken saves the day.
